What Nevada requires. Nothing more.
CropLine is a Nevada-licensed cannabis distributor. Nevada law requires every person who works at a licensed cannabis establishment, including office and dispatch roles, to hold a Cannabis Establishment Agent Registration Card from the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (NRS 678B.340; NRS 678A.100). The rules below are the state's. We state them as written so you can judge your own eligibility before you spend time on an application.
To be eligible you must
- Be 21 or older.
Nevada prohibits anyone under 21 from serving as a cannabis establishment agent (NRS 678B.340(6)(b)). This is a state licensing rule, not a CropLine preference. The application asks a single yes-or-no question; we do not collect your date of birth.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a CCB agent card in the category your role requires.
The application includes fingerprints submitted to the Nevada Central Repository and the FBI (NRS 678B.340(4)). The card costs $150 per category and is valid for two years (NRS 678B.390). You are deemed temporarily registered once a complete application is submitted, so a start date does not wait for the physical card.
- Be eligible under the Board's criteria.
Nevada disqualifies applicants convicted of an “excluded felony offense,” defined by NRS 678B.050 as a category A felony, or two or more felonies where the sentence, including probation, was completed within the last 10 years. Convictions completed more than 10 years ago do not count, and cannabis conduct that is lawful in Nevada today does not count. Applicants who are disqualified may petition the Board for an exemption under NRS 678B.633. The Board makes this determination, not CropLine, and we do not ask about criminal history on the application.
If the role puts you behind the wheel
- A valid Nevada driver licence. A standard Class C licence is sufficient. Our vehicles are under 26,000 lbs and cannabis transport is intrastate by regulation, so no CDL and no DOT medical certificate apply.
- Insurable on CropLine's commercial auto policy. Insurability is determined by the carrier at the offer stage. If the carrier declines, we tell you why, attributed to the carrier, and you have the opportunity to respond.
- For consumer home delivery, a sales-facility-category card. Delivering to a consumer requires an agent card in the cannabis sales facility category specifically (NAC 678B.321(1)), and card categories do not transfer. A distributor-category card covers facility-to-facility transfers but not home delivery. Dispatchers who accept delivery orders sit inside the delivery process too (NAC 678B.321(4)).
The application does not ask for your date of birth, Social Security number, identity documents, criminal-history detail, or salary history. Nevada employers may not seek or rely on salary history (NRS 613.133), and identity documents are collected only after an offer is accepted, as federal Form I-9 rules require. Work authorization is asked as the standard two questions and nothing about citizenship.
